A machine designed to meet the challenges of a wide array of applications, the CP75 II excels on jobsites ranging from driveways to large parking lots. Its compact design allows it to pave in size restrictive locations, including parking garages or covered areas, while its low hood and screed mounted controls give optimal visibility and comfort for crew performance. Coupled with the high torque 74hp Deutz Tier IV Final engine (no DEF), the class-exclusive High Flow Material Conveyor, and a wide variety of options, the CP75 II sets a new benchmark of what a commercial class paver can be by delivering unequaled results and contractor focus.
At the heart of the CP75 II is the efficient and powerful Deutz 2.9 L4 Tier IV Final turbocharged engine, producing 74 horsepower (55kW) at 2500rpm while requiring no DEF tank. The CP75 II combines this power with a robust undercarriage, comprised of six bogies, heavy-duty two speed planetaries, and hydraulically self-tensioning tracks, for optimal jobsite performance, balance and pushing power.
The layout of the CP75 II’s engine compartment leads the commercial class in accessibility and serviceability. The one-piece forward tilting hood, largest side doors in its class and access panel in the hopper provide open and direct access to all of paver’s engine, hydraulics, and color coded electrical harnesses.
Both control stations feature direct connect cable steering levers, intuitively placed hydraulic functions and organized switch placement. The CP75 II also features a 4.5in (114mm) full color LED display at the left hand station, providing up to the second information on engine performance and instrument gauges, including fuel level.
The platform has set a new benchmark in standard crew comfort features. Each CP75 II comes standard with cup holders, tool trays, locking tool boxes, depth rod holders and citrus washdown tank and 25ft reel.
The class-exclusive High Flow Material Conveyor (HFMC) sets a new bar for commercial-class platforms for efficiency and anti-mix segregation properties. Pairing the efficiency of belt technology with the time tested reliability and long lifecycle of heavy duty chain and slat conveyors, the HFMC achieves a leading 75% power reduction compared to traditional conveyors while eliminating mix segregation. The hybrid HFMC system also greatly reduces cleanup time by preventing material carryover, eliminating the daily under hopper cleanout needed on wide conveyor platforms with traditional chain and slat systems.
The CP75 II also comes standard with Carlson’s class-exclusive horizontal sliding damper doors. A feature that keep obstructions such as utility boxes from damaging them while open, the horizontal sliding doors are infinitely adjustable for utilization during wide width paving, utility cut applications, or fully closed for transport across the jobsite.
The CP75 II comes standard with the EZC815 electrically heated screed, with a standard paving width of 8′-15′ (2.44-4.57m). Built with many of Carlson’s industry leading highway-class features, the EZC815 comes standard with electric heat, full length element holddowns for efficient heat transfer, adjustable deck cone system for leveling, spring loaded endgates and the exclusive Carlson 2% screed taper. Along with its intuitive adjustment points and easy leveling, the platform achieves exceptional mat quality season after paving season.
The EZC815 is also available with a wide array of options and attachments that further the platform’s versatility and paving performance. From integrated 12″ or 18″ berm to heated endgates and bolt-on extensions, the EZC815 can be customized to your paving requirements and needs.
The CP75 II is available with a wide array of options that enhance the performance and comfort of the platform. All of Carlson’s paver options are able to be retrofitted at a later date, allowing contractors to customize their platform to suit the needs of their paving applications.
