CP100 II Commercial Paver

Redefining Commercial Class

The CP100 II, the next generation of the commercial-class’ leading heavy-duty platform, has arrived. Featuring a powerful and reliable Cummins Tier IV Final engine, highway-class wear components and its class’s leading screed platform in the EZCSS, the CP100 II delivers a new level of performance and mat quality to the commercial-class contractors.

From small to large-scale commercial paving projects, the CP100 II meets and exceeds the demands of contractors by delivering best-in-class performance and exceptional mat quality. The platform’s versatility, along with its low profile, enables the paver to be utilized in size restrictive areas, such as parking garages, while having the performance and contractor-focus for sizeable parking lot and municipal applications.

The Intersection Of Torque And Power

The CP100 II features a Cummins QSF 3.8 turbocharged Tier IV Final engine, producing 100hp (74.5kW) at 2200rpm. Producing 6% more torque than its predecessor, the new Cummins engine also reduces noise volumes for quieter work in noise sensitive areas, crew safety and comfort. Coupled with closed loop hydraulics and the commercial-class’ largest planetary drives, the CP100 II delivers unmatched jobsite performance and pushing power to take on a wide range of paving applications.

The layout of the CP100 II’s engine compartment leads its class in accessibility and serviceability. The one-piece forward tilting hood, largest side doors in its class and access panel in the hopper provide open and direct access to all of the paver’s engine, hydraulics, and color coded electrical harnesses.

Built To A Higher Standard

Manufactured to outlast and outperform, the CP100 II is built from the ground up to meet the demands of the contractor. Utilizing the heaviest duty one-piece frame in its class, the heaviest duty highway-class wear components in its class, and exceptionally robust undercarriage featuring oversized drive hubs, the CP100 II’s build substantially reduces downtime and wear component replacement costs. The platform is also fully rebuildable, allowing contractors to increase return on investment and maximize the paver’s service in their fleet for years to come.

Material Feed Second To None

The CP100 II, like its predecessor, sets the bar to reliability, longevity and material throughput. Combining the heaviest duty chain and slat conveyors in its class, largest conveyor sprockets in their class, fully sealed auger bearings and replaceable 450 Brinell-rated floor plates, the material distribution system of the CP100 II provides contractors efficient material flow while substantially increasing uptime and return on investment.

The CP100 II also features Carlson’s exclusive horizontal sliding damper doors. A feature that keeps obstructions such as utility boxes from damaging them while open, the horizontal sliding doors are infinitely adjustable for utilization during wide width paving, utility cut applications, or fully closed for transport across the jobsite.

Full Control At The Operator’s Fingertips

Elevating operator performance and ergonomics, the CP100 II comes with two control stations allowing full control of the platform from either side. Each operator console comes standard with electric over hydraulic steering joysticks, intuitive rocker switch functions and 7-inch full color LED displays. Full control of the heat management system, adjustments to the material feed speed, fluid gauges and more are accessed through the touch screen displays. The CP100 II also comes standard with hand held remotes that control of material flow and screed functions, including optional EZCSS functions like power extension height, power crown and power slope.

The CP100 II is available in 2-man and 3-man configurations. In the 2-man configuration the platform’s control consoles are screed mounted, keeping them relative to the operator at all times. When in the 3-man position the CP100 II features seats and operator stations able to pivot outwards 45º for maximum visibility.

Carlson, the industry leader in screed design and performance, has taken the commercial-class paver screed to a new level with the EZCSS screed. With a basic paving width of 8 ft. to 15 ft., the EZCSS features Carlson’s exclusive high strength single slide extension support, a system used by the EZIV front-mount screed. Complete with leading features including 2% screed taper, adjustable slide blocks, deck cone leveling, spring loaded endgates and more, the EZCSS produces unmatched mat quality and unparalleled paving performance.

The CP100 II is available with a wide array of options that enhance the performance, versatility and comfort of the platform. From integrated berm and power crown to tunnel kits and hydraulic truck hitch, the CP100 II can be customized to the needs and wants of the contractor. All of Carlson’s paver options are able to be retrofitted at a later date, allowing contractors to customize their platform to suit the needs of their paving applications at any time.
